John Bickford, the step-father of NASCAR superstar Jeff Gordon, has recently decided to part with a few items from the huge collection that he's amassed over the years, while bringing up one of the greatest racers in the world.
These incredible caps are part of the auction, and were the official hats that were produced for members of the #24 DuPont team to wear for their press photos in 1997 and 1998 when Gordon clinched the NASCAR Cup Series Championship. They were not offered or sold to the public, making them exceptionally rare. What's even more rare is that they are extras that Bickford was able to get his hands on - so they are literally brand new and have never been worn!
